McLean, VA – The Media Trust, the global leader in monitoring and protecting the online and mobile advertising ecosystem, today announced the release of Media Verifier 5.0, the Company’s flagship service that automates line-item verification and life-of-campaign verification management for online, mobile and search advertising campaigns. This new release includes an updated and streamlined code base, which significantly improves response times and the overall end user experience. Media Verifier 5.0 also includes a redesigned, more robust user interface (UI), which enables a more flexible, intuitive quality assurance process to ensure a client’s online and mobile advertising campaigns execute according to contract requirements. A SaaS-based service, Media Verifier 5.0’s new UI also includes streamlined navigation and improved reporting capabilities.

First launched in 2005, Media Verifier is a well-established, neutral, third-party quality assurance system that automates the process of verifying a given ad placement is running as intended and that no mistakes occurred in the ad’s execution. The solution also automates the capture and reporting of the ad’s placement, providing visual verification via a “digital tearsheet.” In the event an error does occur, the Media Verifier team provides real-time notification of the placement’s execution failure so the publisher can immediately correct the issue and mitigate the number of “make goods.”

“Media Verifier 5.0 marks a major milestone for our industry-leading line-item verification and life-of-campaign verification management solution. This enhanced version will provide our clients with a richer, more robust user experience by presenting publishers with real-time status and notifications on their advertising campaigns in a more user-friendly manner” said Chris Olson, The Media Trust’s CEO and co-founder.

Each month, Media Verifier verifies hundreds of thousands of online and mobile ad campaigns, which encompass hundreds of billions of online impressions. The Media Trust retains this data in their secure systems for a minimum of two years so the company can assist media buyers and sellers with any auditing and discrepancy resolution issues.

Media Verifier has seamless and secure integration with the most widely used ad management and serving platforms including Doubleclick, Atlas, ADTECH, APT, OAS and OpenX as well as a host of proprietary systems.

The solution provides its automated campaign verification management for online and mobile websites, gaming platforms, IP-enabled television, search result pages and mobile applications. The service supports any type of major ad creative—search text, JPEG images, Flash, rich media or video, native and overlays. For mobile, the solution supports all major platforms, including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows.
