The Platform Engineering team in McLean, VA, currently focuses on large infrastructure operations and optimizations. Our mission is to enable the engineering teams to build scalable and reliable products for our customers and engineering partners. We are passionate about technology and making great products.

The technologies we use are chosen to ensure we maintain high standards to provide our customers with a reliable product based on them. However, we understand that a growing engineer must be able to work with different technologies applied to solve real challenges.  We are building our next-generation platform upon cloud technologies and want you to help us in this new adventure.


  • Being passionate about operations engineering and building great, reliable platforms and products
  • 2+ years of Linux administration, including troubleshooting (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Repair and recover from hardware issues and provides support for upgrades, patching, etc.
  • Monitors, optimize, and support all networked software and related operating systems.
  • Assists in resolving technical issues and plays a role in developing and implementing solutions to include high volume/high availability systems.
  • Performs system administration tasks using best practices & methodologies, adhering to schedule, change management control, security, and applicable operational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards.
  • Experience participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Possesses great communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Being proactive and not being afraid of saying what we can do better
  • Interpersonal skills: you’re good at listening and speaking up
