Location: Mclean Virginia
The responsibilities are diverse and include, but are not limited to:
Work as part of a team to identify issues to protect the security and reputation of clients.
Replicate client behaviors, systems, and risk assessments.
Knowledge of network tracking tools for multiple browsers including, Chrome, FF, IE and mobile
Examples: Fiddler, Charles Proxy, HttpWatch, ChromeTools, etc.
Research and verify publicly available information about domains, prospects, and clients.
Compare malware to existing malware signatures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department.
Responsible to evaluate and analyze complex malicious code through the use of tools, including debuggers, virtual machines, hex editors, disassemblers, un-packers, and network sniffers.
Effectively communicate, internally and externally, regarding highly sensitive information.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience with malware/malvertising, ad technology, and/or cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Be a self-starter, willing to work problems to resolution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in obfuscation/encryption and how to reverse it a plus.
Must have an understanding of dynamic/static analysis of malware.
IT/security certifications are an added plus.
